DCPS REOPENING WEBSITE FOR FAMILIES
DCPSReopenStrong.com is the online hub for families across the district. Weekly updates from DCPS to families are always posted under the Updates section. Families should take time to review resources available under the Health section to learn more about our safety commitments. On the Students page, you can watch a series of short videos about what the school day will be like when returning to the classroom.
On the Buildings page, you can learn about our building readiness standards to ensure every facility is ready to welcome students back to a safe learning environment. School operation plans for elementary schools and readiness checklists are already posted online and information for secondary schools is forthcoming. Our COVID-19 Response Protocol is available online as well and be sure to share information for the new COVID-19 building safety hotline.
The Term 3 section offers an overview of the Reopen Community Corps and in-person learning models. We also developed an In-Person Learning Family Guide with links to the important documents for student participation in in-person programming at school. Translations of these documents are also available.
