Welcome to Browne EC Virtual Library!

Ms. Johnson, DCPS, Librarian, Browne EC

Hello Browne Families,

Welcome to Browne EC Virtual Library portal. Please think of the Browne EC Virtual Library portal as an extension of our school library media center. I can't believe our school year is ending.  I just want to say that I am so of proud of you, our students for adapting to the changes in our instruction style and environment!  Thank you, parents for your efforts in our Learning @Home classes.  I hope you all enjoy your summer break.  I will leave this week's lesson and past lessons and activities up on the web page throughout the summer.  Please keep learning and keep reading! Below you will find information on the District of Columbia Public Library's Summer Reading Challenge.  Remember that your student identification number is also your public library card number, so you are all set to get books and other resources online.  Please also visit  your neighborhood libraries when they reopen.

Please feel free to contact me with any specific requests that you may have. You can contact at

Take care and be safe,

Ms. Johnson
